Dangerous booby traps in forest
Police will investigate a series of booby traps that have been set up along a walking trail at a forest in Limburg.
It must be the work of a maniac, who wants to hurt people with hidden booby traps. A walker got wounded by one of the traps a month ago. Yesterday a new, even larger trap was discovered.
Cyclists discovered the pot-hole on a trail where many walkers run with their dog. The hole was almost one and a half meter deep and 70 centimetres wide, with at the bottom dozens razor-sharp iron pin of 15 up to 30 centimetres high placed in cement, just like the previous time. The breach had been covered with leaves and plastic.
At the beginning of last month a 61-year-old person stepped unsuspectingly in such a pot-hole at the Neerseweg. He got wounded on his foot. The pot-hole which has been discovered yesterday, was almost a meter deeper which worries the police and municipality a lot.
These boobytraps have been explicitly placed to wound people. , it is a trap where you fall in entirely.
The police takes into account that it concerns the same suspect (s).
