In looking thru some "stuff' I came across what seems to be a watch fob on a leather strap. After a little clean up we were able to see a ship and an inscription "Half Moon", "Hudson-Fulton 1603" and Celebration 1909'. I do not think the metal is of any value other than as a commerative piece. My husband is of Dutch decent and he and his family are from Johnstown N.Y. and we are presuming that it belonged to one of his ancestors. If you have any interest in it please contact us, as we would be happy to donate to your collection.
