Part four of Ziggo’s Entertainment Experience can be seen during the Entertainment Experience’s television programme, which is broadcast Monday to Thursday on Veronica. This part was filmed in an office building on IJburg in Amsterdam with actors Peter Blok, Jochum ten Haaf, Sallie Harmsen, Anita Ludolphie, who was discovered during the well over two thousand open castings that the Entertainment Experience organised in partnership with Ziggo, and Pieter Tiddens. The cast of this part of the film is further made up of Celia van den Boogert, Robert de Hoog, Gaite Jansen, Ricky Koole and Carolien Spoor.

Entertainment Experience
The Entertainment Experience will produce two films: a user-generated film and a professional version of the same film, directed by Paul Verhoeven. Talented all-rounders, or those who are only interested in one element of film-making (such as writing, acting, directing, editing or composing), can register to take part in the user- generated movie via the website www.entertainmentexperience.nl. Registered participants will then have the chance to develop a film, up to and including the eighth part. Both films will be based on the same script, the first part of which was written by Kim van Kooten. Together with scenario writer Robert Alberdingk Thijm, Paul Verhoeven will be selecting the scripts for the remaining seven parts from all the submitted works. This means that scenes from both films will end with the same elements every three minutes and begin from the same starting points.

HEINEKEN will launch its marketing campaign to support the Heineken® partnership with James Bond in September 2012. The brand will focus its efforts on creating new levels of excitement for the film in on-premise establishments and retail stores across multiple markets.

The funds will be reserved for purchases for the Van Gogh Museum’s permanent collection. In 2011, the museum was able to acquire two works by Camille Pissarro (1831-1903): the painting The haymaking, Éragny (1887) and the gouache Cowgirl in morning sun (1887). As marvellous examples of Pointillism, they are both important additions to the collection.

Beneficiary since 1998
The Van Gogh Museum has been a beneficiary of the BankGiro Lottery since 1998. In particular, men aged under 40 are happy to take advantage of the benefits offered by the Internet. Men aged 60 and older appear to be less willing to take time out for their sweetheart; one in ten men in this age category even sends his better half out to find a little gift for herself. All told, modest gifts appear to be the most popular: 45% of the men who buy something for their sweetheart choose a nice card and 43% buy flowers. Only the very occasional woman says that she would like to be given a large or expensive gift, like a diamond ring for example.

Not everyone is equally romantic
One out of five women are likely to be disappointed on Valentines Day: they may want a lot, but are in a relationship where their other half lets Valentines Day pass without a thought or present. Chances are, this woman will be the partner or spouse of a man over the age of 40. Research shows that four out of ten men in this age group do not give their sweetheart (or secret sweetheart) anything on 14 February, making this group of women the most neglected on Valentines Day.

PostNL helps men find their way to Valentines Day
To help these men on their way, PostNL’s online greetings card service KaartWereld set out to ask men whether they had already arranged a little something for their sweetheart on Valentines Day. The KaartWereld team offered help to those who were remiss: together they ordered a free Valentines Day card online via PostNL’s KaartWereld site to be sent to the sweetheart (or secret sweetheart).

About the research
The online research into men and their Valentines Day gift and card-giving behaviour was carried out on behalf of PostNL by Kien Onderzoek using a representative sample of 1,483 respondents. The field work was carried out in January 2012.

Among the first concerts scheduled across 26 European cities is a show on July 7th in Amsterdam at the Ziggo Dome. Tickets will be on sale starting Feb. 11.

The Madonna 2012 World Tour begins May 29th 2012 in Tel Aviv, Israel it was officially announced by Live Nation Entertainment, the tour’s international promoter. The shows will include arenas, stadiums and special outdoor sights including the Plains of Abraham in Quebec and a return visit to South America as well as Australia where she has not performed in 20 years. The tour will stop in 26 European cities including London, Paris, Milan and Berlin.

The first of 26 North American shows is scheduled for August 28th in Philadelphia and includes a September 6th show in NY’s Yankee Stadium and an October 10th performance at LA’s Staples Center. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale beginning February 10th in Tel Aviv and the United Kingdom, with North American tickets going on sale beginning February 13th. Madonna’s previous tour, the phenomenally successful “Sticky & Sweet” Tour reaffirmed her status as one of the most successful touring artists of all time. The announcement of Madonna’s 2012 World Tour follows an extraordinary week which included a monumental extravaganza of a performance at the Bridgestone Super Bowl Halftime which was seen in over 200 countries by over a billion people. Last week also saw the release of Madonna’s new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin” from her highly anticipated new album MDNA on Live Nation Entertainment/Interscope Records – scheduled to be released on March 26th. Performing at the Superbowl for the first time, Madonna has chosen Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci for her unique performance.
