Google has revealed more information about its new Project Glass. The futuristic “augmented reality” glasses – from the same Google team that is developing self-driven cars – can snap photos, initiate video chats and display directions at the sound of a user’s voice.
Google believes technology should work for you—to be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don’t.
A group from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment. Google took a few design photos to show what this technology could look like and created a video to demonstrate what it might enable you to do.
Google did not yet announce the price of the glasses or the date when they would be put on sale.
