The low value of the dollar, the mortgage crisis in the US and the tax burden on cars in our country ensure that more and more people import their American dream machine from the other side of the Atlantic ocean. It almost makes a difference between 5000 to 10,000 euro and in some cases even 20,000 euro.
With the increasing demand for both new and second-hand American cars from the US, also the number of companies that specialize in this market grows in our country. They buy the car in America, ensure the transport and take care of the inspection at Rdw. In most cases extra lights must be installed.
Coen Neervoort is such an entrepreneur. He started his own import company for vehicles from the US last year, USA-Car-Import.com.
Especially cars from the ‘ Sunshine State ‘ are preferred. Because of the climate a car of a couple year old in Florida is still brand new.
