iPhone 4 available on July 30th in The Netherlands
The new Apple iPhone 4 will be for sale in the Netherlands on July 30th, according to the company T-Mobile.
Customers can already pre-order the iPhone 4 on Tuesday. There is a high demand for the new smartphone, according to T-Mobile Netherlands who have the exclusive dealership with Apple. “It appears very popular,” said a spokeswoman.
The new Apple device costs at the cheapest monthly subscription for a two-year contract 169.95 Euros, with a one year subscription it is 359.95 Euros. Customer can choose from four possible subscriptions for the iPhone.
The new mobile device has more than one hundred new features and a completely new look, according to Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
The iPhone 4 is “the thinnest Smartphone on the planet” at 9.3 mm thick — 24 percent thinner than the iPhone 3GS, the company’s current model.
The device has a front-facing camera for video conferencing, and the camera on the back will have an LED flash. The phone has a 5-megapixel camera with a backside illuminated sensor, which is fairly new to smartphones.
The iPhone 4 will be redesigned with a glass back and metal around the sides. The phone comes in two colors — black and white.
