Jamiroquai to Perform In the Netherlands
April will see the return of Jamiroquai, following the band’s new album release. Jay Kay and the rest of the group will perform at Ahoy Rotterdam as part of their Rock Dust Light Star tour.
The band are best known for hits such as Canned Heat, Deeper Underground and Virtual Insanity, and gave an impressive performance to millions of viewers during an X Factor live results show in late 2010. Jamiroquai tickets are now on sale for the band’s first European tour in over five years.
Jamiroquai has his big breakthrough in the early 90s with a very danceable mix of jazzy and funky popmusic. Worldwide, the British band sold over 25 million albums and the new album – their seventh studio album – will certainly add some more to that number.
Recently, Jay Kay and his funky band gave a concert in the packed Paradiso, following the release of ‘Rock Star Light Dust’. The long awaited album was released after a silence of five years, after the first single White Knuckle Ride had left many fans craving for more. With a night to remember at Ahoy in anticipation, Jamiroquai hopes to temporarily appease the hunger of the fans.
