Victoria’s Secret opens first European store in Amsterdam
Good news for the Dutch women: the famous Victoria’s Secret will open a store at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam this fall.
It’s also the first store in Europe. The U.S. chain will open a so-called flagship store in London in 2012.
But who thinks to buy sexy lingerie or bikinis tax-free at the airport, will be disappointed. The shop is only seventy square meters and therefore there will be no room for lingerie and dressing rooms.
There will be other products available such as makeup, tights, shirts and accessories.
The new store will be located in Lounge 3. This space will get a big makeover. Also the luxury fashion brand Hermes will open a store there.
Top models such as Doutzen Kroes, Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima are familiar faces from the American lingerie company Victoria’s Secret.

The lingerie retailer has created a short film called ‘Loves me, Loves me not,’ which allows watchers to learn some Valentine dos and don’ts from VS models Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge and Adriana Lima, wearing what else, lingerie.
